Miss Vashe T. Weah, a junior student at the University of Liberia and the reigning Miss Inter-University Liberia (MIUL), will represent the University of Liberia and the MIUL platform at the Global Youth Summit hosted by Global Changemakers and ATKV in Cape Town, South Africa. Miss Weah will be in South Africa from the 19th to the 28th of this month.

This incredible opportunity comes as part of the prize package awarded to her after winning the Miss Inter-University Liberia 2024 crown, a platform designed to empower young women in higher education through leadership, service, and advocacy.

The Global Youth Summit is a highly selective international program that brings together 50 exceptional young leaders from across the world for an immersive experience in leadership, climate change, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. Participants collaborate on innovative projects aimed at driving sustainable impact within their communities.

Miss Weah’s selection highlights the growing influence of Liberian universities in global youth development spaces. Her participation also underscores MIUL’s commitment to nurturing confident, visionary, and socially responsible young women who are ready to make meaningful contributions beyond campus life.

As she prepares for this transformative journey, the MIUL organization and the University of Liberia community extend their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for her continuous success.
