Liberia National Student's Union (LINSU)

The Liberia National Students' Union (LINSU), founded in 1952 and enacted into law by the National Legislature on January 25, 1957, is the umbrella organisation representing the collective interests of Liberian students. As a historic and legitimate voice of the student community, LINSU has consistently advanced quality education, democratic participation, and youth development while serving as a constructive partner to government, civil society, and international stakeholders. With over seven decades of service, the Union remains committed to fostering student leadership, promoting gender equality, addressing contemporary challenges such as climate change and health, and ensuring that students remain central to Liberia’s national development agenda.
