Serving as Research Director for Miss Inter-University Liberia 2.0 is an esteemed Development Professional with a strong background in Research, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) and Project Management. He is a Graduate of the Africa University with a Master’s in Public Policy and Governance, and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Natural Resources Management.
Clarence is skilled in Qualitative and Quantitative Research, has conducted research consultancy for Seed-Co Zimbabwe Ltd on the best cowpeas seed suitable for the Manicaland Province by experimenting with 25 cowpeas varieties in Manicaland, Zimbabwe, over nine months to determine the best seed for early maturity and the best seed for yield applicable to Manicaland soil type, among several other research projects, most of which are academic and qualitative research.
He has experience in monitoring and evaluating donor-funded initiatives, like the Irish Aid-funded Liberia WASH Consultancy (LWC) Project, the AfD-funded Better Health Outcomes for Liberians (BEHOL) Project, and the USAID-funded Liberia Feed the Future Food Security, Nutrition, and Resilience (FSNR) Activity, demonstrating a strong background in development program assessment and measurement.
Currently, Clarence is the Project Manager on the Conservation International-funded Sinoe Building Climate Resilience Project, which aims to enhance climate resilience and environmental sustainability in Greenville, Sinoe County, for the next six months. He has supervised agronomic projects and played a significant role in implementing the FSNR Activity in Montserrado, Margibi, and Grand Bassa counties.
Clarence possesses interpersonal communication skills and technical proficiency in MS Word Suite and data analysis and data management platforms like CommCare and Kobo Collect.
